We have just returned form our fourth trip around Australia.

This time we spent time at the lovely town of Jindabyne, overlooking the lake.  We were fortunate enough to attend the dawn service on Anzac Day - very moving, and as the dawn came the statue of Strezlecki, pointing to Kosciusko, appeared in the mist with the lake as a backdrop - unforgettable.

Our trip included the extraordinary Wilpena Pound in South Australia, Coober Pedy and then a prolonged stay in alice springs - a great opportunity to visit the many gorges and fabulous Nature Park.  On to Katherine (one of our favourites), through the stunning Gregory National Park  To the eden that is Kununurra (made famous in the movie "Australia") - with its lovely lakes.

On to the famous Barn Hill station and down the coast to Exmouth and our favourite Ningaloo Reef and Cape Range National Park. for a couple of months.  You will know how much we love this place by the number of photos exibit.

On to Karijini N.P. - stunning - down the centre of Western Australia to the stunning Wildflower belt.  Then to Harvey Dicksons Country Music Festval at Boyup Brook - a totally unbelievable experience - not to be missed.  Then on to Esperence - Cape LeGrande National Park, Lucky Bay etc - one of the prettiest spots in Australia.

Head north and then east across The Nullabour.  Many people find this trip daunting - we look forward to it every time - it has an aura all of its own and the lookouts over the Southern Ocean are breathtaking - as are the many Southern Right Whales and their babies, sunning themselves close to the shore and at The Head of Bight.  Amazing creatures!

A few days rest at Streaky Bay - another fabulous spot - a lovely friendly town.

With the scent of home in our nostrels it's pretty well full speed ahead - with a few days in Broken Hill and Silverton with the many Art Galleries.

If the trip sounds fantastic - believe it! - I"ve jsut scratched the surface of our fantastic experiences - and always with camera close at hand.
